When to call us
- Oil leaks at the plunger, hoses or fittings
- The lift rises slowly, unevenly or drifts down
- Unusual noise or vibration
- Safety locks not engaging cleanly
- Planned servicing before a busy season
What to tell us
Send a short video or photos, the lift model if you know it, how old the machine is, and a description of the fault. This lets us advise on likely causes and parts before anyone travels.
Oil and parts
Use only the hydraulic oil grade specified by your lift manufacturer. We supply hydraulic oil in 150-litre drums; see the hydraulic oil page. Spare-part availability depends on the model, so please enquire with your details.
Basic routine checks
Our article How to maintain a hydraulic car lift lists daily, weekly and periodic checks. Never work under a raised vehicle unless the safety locks are engaged.
